What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help sites function and, where permitted, help us understand how visitors use our site.
Categories we use
Necessary. Required for core site functionality, such as remembering your cookie preferences and keeping your session active. These cannot be disabled and don't require consent.
Analytics. Help us understand how visitors interact with the site, so we can identify and fix issues and improve the experience. Not loaded until you actively opt in. Some basic, first-party analytics used solely to improve site appearance and function may be exempt from consent under UK law, but we'll always disclose them here and let you object.
Marketing. Used to measure the effectiveness of our outreach and communications. Not loaded until you actively opt in.
How we ask for consent
When you first visit, you'll see a choice to accept or reject non-essential cookies, presented with equal prominence. Rejecting is exactly as easy as accepting. We don't load analytics or marketing cookies until you've made an active choice, and pre-ticked boxes are never used. Your choice is recorded with a timestamp so we can demonstrate compliance if required.
Managing your preferences
You can update your cookie preferences at any time on our Cookie Settings page. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
